A dynamic and rapidly growing digital agency is on the lookout for a talented Content Strategist to join their growningteam. This is a part-time role offering 3 days per week of flexible, remote work, with occasional visits to their London office. As a Content Strategist, you will be at the heart of content creation for some of the UK's most well known brands. You will partner closely with a diverse team of content creators, designers, and account managers to translate insights into effective, on brand content strategies. You will help ensure that everything you produce has a clear purpose and a strong impact, all while staying ahead of trends and platform changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and drive social first content strategies: Leading the creation of content strategies for campaigns, always on content, and content series, from concept to delivery. Your focus will be on making sure each piece of content aligns with brand goals and resonates with audiences across social media platforms.
Transform insights into actionable ideas: Using audience insights, social trends, and performance data to provide creative direction and ensure that the content speaks directly to the intended audience, making sure it’s timely and engaging.
Content planning and calendar development: Building content calendars, curate content formats, and craft brand narratives that are tailored to each platform (whether that’s Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.), ensuring consistency and relevance across the board.
Collaborate and lead creative teams: Working hand in hand with content creators and designers to ensure content ideas are executed in a way that’s is bold, clear, and on-brand. You will guide the creative process and help the team develop ideas that are not just creative but also perform well.
Create strategic presentations and decks: Developing strategic decks that clearly communicate your vision and rationale behind content decisions. You will be expected to present these ideas to both internal teams and clients in a way that is clear, persuasive, and impactful.
Work cross-functionally: Partnering with account and production teams to make sure content is delivered according to plan and aligns with the overall strategy throughout the process.
Staying ahead of the curve: Continuously monitoring social media platforms for updates on features, algorithms, and emerging trends. You will use this knowledge to stay ahead of the curve and ensure your strategies are always current and relevant.
Performance analysis and optimisation: Collaborating with the analytics team to measure the performance of your content. You will review the results and share actionable insights to optimise future strategies and content.
We need you to have:
2-3 years in a content, social, or digital strategy role (either at an agency or in-house). Experience working across a variety of social platforms is a must, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Content Strategy Expertise with a strong understanding of how to build effective content strategies that drive engagement, reach, and results. You know how to turn audience insights and trends into meaningful, high-performing content.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (creatives, editors, producers) to bring ideas to life. You will need to be a team player who can clearly communicate your vision.
Analytical mindset, you will be comfortable with social media analytics tools and can distill performance data into actionable insights that help improve future strategies and content.
Clear communicator, whether it is a presentation, a brief, or a meeting, you know how to communicate your ideas concisely and persuasively, both visually and verbally.
You are always on top of the latest trends in social media, platform updates, and audience behaviors. Bonus points if you have used AI tools for strategy development or content ideation.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with paid media strategies and how they can complement organic content efforts.
Experience working in professional services or for larger, more corporate brands.
