Midweight Creative Designer - 3 days per week in Central London office
A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a Midweight Creative Designer to join a fast-paced, independent creative agency based in Central London.
This is a great role for a designer who enjoys variety and does not want to be boxed into one narrow area of design. The agency works across brand, digital, print, campaigns, web, motion and interactive experiences, so they are looking for someone who can bring strong ideas, sharp craft and a hands-on approach across a broad mix of creative work.
You might be working on a brand identity one day, designing digital assets the next, preparing artwork for print, building out social campaign visuals, supporting website design or creating simple motion pieces. It is a varied role where no two briefs are likely to feel the same.
The agency works with a mix of international brands and ambitious start-ups so your role and campaigns will be varied. Their projects are creative, meaningful and often highly visible, so this would suit someone who wants to create work that has real impact.
They are a collaborative, friendly and ambitious team, with a strong focus on quality, ideas and long-term client relationships.
The role will involve:
Designing across brand, digital, web, print, social, campaign and motion projects
Supporting the creative team in developing concepts and turning briefs into strong visual ideas
Creating brand assets, pitch decks, campaign visuals, social content, website layouts, marketing collateral and print materials
Preparing finished artwork and production ready files for both digital and print use
Creating simple motion graphics, animations or interactive content where needed
Working closely with strategists, account managers, developers and other members of the creative team
Contributing ideas in brainstorms, workshops and project kick-off sessions
Helping maintain brand consistency across client projects
Keeping an eye on new design tools, creative technology and ways to improve the work
What they are looking for:
Around 2 to 5 years’ experience in a creative agency, design studio or in-house creative team
A strong portfolio showing work across brand, digital and print design
Confident skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Experience designing for websites, landing pages or digital experiences
A good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, brand systems and visual storytelling
Some motion design experience, ideally using After Effects or a similar tool
A proactive, curious and positive attitude
An interest in emerging creative technology, AI tools and interactive work
Nice to have, but not essential:
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Experience across events, exhibitions, environmental graphics or experiential design
Illustration, 3D or video editing skills
