Senior Paid Social Manager – Manchester (Hybrid 2 days per week in office)

We are looking for a Paid Social Manager who knows more than how to push buttons in Ads Manager, but how to think strategically, interpret data intuitively, and translate platform mechanics into real commercial impact. Someone who can balance creative thinking with performance. Someone who understands that great paid social is part science, part storytelling.
Our client has built a strong reputation for blending culture, creativity, and conversion, delivering paid social campaigns that connect emotionally and drive measurable results. They are scaling fast, and need a Paid Social Manager who wants to lead from the front, shape ideas, and elevate paid social both as a discipline and as a commercial driver.
This is a role that will have big impact, with space to experiment, influence and grow.
Your role will involve:
Developing paid social strategies from scratch based on audience insights, funnel needs, and platform behaviour
Managing paid campaigns end to end across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube (plus new channels as they emerge)
Executing and optimising campaigns daily, budget pacing, bid adjustments, audience refinement, creative iteration, and structured testing
Leading client communication on paid social: presenting strategy, reports, learnings and ideas
Building testing roadmaps and scaling strategies that push beyond the basics
Helping shape the paid social offering and best practice frameworks as the function grows
We need you to have:
3–5 years of hands on paid social experience (agency preferred, but not essential)
Fluent in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads, with deep platform knowledge
Solid understanding of full-funnel campaign structure and audience layering
Confident tracking, reporting and making decisions based on data (GA4, UTMs, attribution, etc.)
Excited by both performance and creative, able to give direction on ad formats, hooks, messaging, and asset types
Naturally client facing, able to present clearly and earn trust
Comfortable managing budgets at scale
Supportive leader with experience mentoring juniors or leading projects
