Mid-weight PHP Back End Developer – Portsmouth, Hampshire  (Hybrid working – 3 days in office) £35k-£45k

We are working with a software development business who are looking to hire an experienced PHP Developer to work as part of their dynamic and collaborative environment, and their other talented developers.

You will be working on a variety of interesting projects, including bespoke software integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Sage Pay, and more. You'll be responsible for executing clean, efficient code using PHP and ensuring that the software we build is of the highest quality.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in PHP Development
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks including Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, Laminas or in-house bespoke frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker would be beneficial.
• A keen eye for writing clean, maintainable and re-usable code
• A positive and collaborative attitude .
• A genuine interest in technology and a passion for problem solving

Your role will be working as part of a growing team with plenty of opportunities to learn and gain further personal development, their hybrid working setup is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

You will be working on exciting, diverse projects where each client needs something different so will often work outside of your comfort zone and giving you the opportunity to stretch yourself.
